I use olive oil in many of my bread machine recipes.  This includes some of my favorite recipes like sour milk bread and hamburger buns.  Recently though I noticed that Costco had a new product.  Instead of olive oil I’ve been using Costco’s Mediterranean Blend Oil.  It’s a blend of canola, olive and grape seed oil.  I haven’t noticed any change in the flavor of the bread, but I have noticed that the Mediterranean Blend Oil is a lot less expensive than Costco’s extra virgin olive oil.  So if you shop at Costco, don’t be afraid to use this product in your bread machine.  It’ll work just fine!
