Bread Machine Recipe for Peanut Butter Bread — 25 Comments

  1. I’m going to make this bread for my sweet Grandson who loves peanut butter! Do you think there would be a problem adding some raisins to the mixture? Thank you in advance for your reply.

  2. I used this bread to make French toast and topped it with jam instead of syrup. It was peanut butter and jelly French toast! Delicious!!

  3. I only have a 1 pound machine and your recipes are for a 2 pound machine. Can I just cut the ingredients in half My machine is the Zojirushi mini

  4. I love ALL of your recipes!! Always turn out perfectly!! Wondering if chocolate chips would be good added to this recipe? Would you do it , and if so , how much?? Thanks!!

  5. Good morning!! Really need to bake the peanut butter bread today but I’m out of brownies sugar!! Will white sugar work?? No molasses, either!! Thanks!!!

  6. My family loves peanut butter, so I couldn’t wait to try this recipe. We were all really disappointed. It looked great but didn’t have much of a peanut butter taste at all. I ended up throwing half of the loaf away & I hardly ever have to throw bread away.
If I increased the peanut butter in the recipe, would something else need to increased?

    • Thanks for your comment. I’m so sorry that you didn’t like the bread.

Increasing the peanut butter might increase the peanut butter flavor, but it would require a lot of different changes to the ingredients. If you come up with a recipe that you like better, please let me know. I’d love to share it with everyone.

  7. This was amazing! The bread was delicious and I could taste the peanut butter just fine. I had to scrape the sides when it was kneading and ended up adding 1/4 cup more water to get everything wet. Will definitely make it again.

  8. I looked up peanut butter bread on your website on a whim and was intrigued. I made the peanut butter bread yesterday. It turned out great! I used crunchy peanut butter and the peanut pieces in the crust was almost like eating roasted peanuts. The peanut flavor was about medium strong but not overwhelming. I’ve had it toasted with butter and jelly so far, but I going to try it on sandwiches and other bread uses too. It is a big winner in my book. It is a keeper.
