Hi Kathy, This will make a fun addition to your dinner party! Amazon sells them, but you have to buy three at once. That might be too much. Here's the link though just in case - Classic Hearth Hawaiian Royal Sweet Bread Mix, 16-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 3). I bought mine at Walmart so you might try there.

You can also use this recipe to make it from scratch - Hawaiian Bread in the Bread Machine

Laura, congratulations on the new bread machine!

If I remember correctly the mix was for a smaller machine. That doesn't mean that you can't make it with a two pound Zojirushi, but sometimes all that extra room makes for some odd looking loaves. Your hippo description is hilariously accurate. That problem should go away when you make a recipe made for a two pound machine. I find my sour milk bread to be a solid performer.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi Marsha, got my hubby a new Zojirushi bread machine for Christmas this year as our old machine finally gave up the ghost. It's been a few years since we regularly used it anyway. I bought a couple of mixes, including this one, to break in the machine. The flavor is really good, but the second loaf we tried just seemed to have issues. The bread is rising more on one side of the machine than the other and we aren't sure if it's the arrangement of the heating coils, or the kneading paddles or what. The bread tastes good but this last loaf looks a bit like a hippo...big rear, and smaller head! Both mixes were purchased at the same grocery store, about a week apart, so there may be something with the yeast. The dough just seemed to want to stick on one side of the machine...perhaps it needed more flour or water?

Thanks, I'm going to try some of your recipes next.
