Five Great Cooking Related Sites
- Recipezaar – I visit this site several times a week. Usually I’m trying to use up some sort of leftover or trying to find a recipe for whatever is on sale at the grocery store. At Recipezaar you can sort by ingredients, category (main dish, occasion, preparation, etc.) or by nutrition. Additionally, the recipe rating system helps you pick a winner.
- Cake Wrecks – This site is hard to describe. Perhaps their tag line says it best, “When professional cakes go horribly, hilariously wrong.”
- Uncle Phaedrus, Finder of Lost Recipes – Are you trying to locate a recipe for Greek sauce to put on hot dogs? Maybe you long for your mother’s prune cake. Perhaps you crave Rudy’s BBQ creamed corn. Uncle Phaedrus is your man for these issues and tons more.
- The Pioneer Woman Cooks – Great photos. Great recipes. Great site!
- King Arthur Flour – This is the site that I go to for inspiration. Is it wrong that looking at photos of colorful sugar cookies makes me happy?
